Richards retires from Northern Star board

John Richards has announced his retirement from the board of gold miner Northern Star with effect from July 31. Richards, who joined as nonexecutive director in February 2021 following an implementation of a scheme of arrangement between Saracen Mineral Holding and Northern Star, is retiring to focus on his other board positions as chairperson of Sandfire Resources and lead independent director of Sheffield Resources.
